Job Overview: The Owner Accounting department is a crucial part of NISADE's Property Management Division. Over the years, this role has expanded significantly from a single-person responsibility into a team-based approach. Since 2017, this team has managed guest payments held in trust, owner accounts held in trust, and supplier funds prior to payment. This position is part of that team, responsible for managing NISADE’s primary income sources and financial reporting to the company and property owners. Key Responsibilities: - Update bank accounts and process receipts in RMS, coordinating with the Reservation team for receipt details. - Reconcile credit card payments and send receipts to the credit card companies. - Perform cash receipt reconciliation and make bank deposits. - Manage the closing of trust bank summaries/EFTPOS summaries. - Assist in reconciling 3-way reports. - Check the Debtor Ledger and follow up with the Reservations/Operations team on outstanding items. - Reconcile supplier invoices with Purchase Orders from Spendwise. - Record all supplier/utility invoices to property expense sheets. - Charge owner expenses to owner accounts, such as Owner Trust Payments/Transfers. - Gather tax data from owners, manage payments/refunds, and coordinate fee management. - Enter and maintain management association account data. - Keep an organized filing system for all records related to owners, clients, and management associations. - Assist team members as needed to fulfill overall responsibilities of the Owner Accounting team. - Support other property management activities/projects as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate accounting for owners.
